hello music fans!

Two months ago we lost our internet concert virginity and we LOVED it.  It might have been one of the most fun shows we'd ever played.  It's interactive (which is something you don't get from a concert very often) and all inclusive (you can watch it all over the world).    There's a chat window that you can communicate with us through while we play live and ask us questions and make request.  You get to sit in your living room, bedroom, kitchen...where ever;  it's a win win.  BYOB!

I heard from some people that they were thrown off by the asking of your credit card information.  I assure you this site is legit.  They will ask for your card information so you can tip us or pay us (if you wish) but you're not obligated to at all.  We get 70% of your contributions.  It's a very reputable website that is providing a great way for traveling musicians to make money on a weekday (which is hard to do).  We love them.  WE LOVE YOU CONCERT WINDOW!  WE LOVE YOU CONCERT WATCHERS!

You can go ahead and buy tickets early or wait till the show.  We start at 9:30 EASTERN and play till you're bored of us.  Last time we played for 2.5 hours?  

well that is all.  Luckily we're not competing with Scandal or Grey's Anatomy or any of those shows everyone loves yet...oh dear GOD LSU football!

Well we've played 8 shows with 7 different lineups in the past two weeks. We've got 5 more shows to go and we couldn't be happier. Here's some photographs fans have taken.

Well everyone we've been working our tails off!  I think we played 4 shows last weekend and not one of them had the same line up!  Today i'm on vocal rest (well trying to be) to get ready for the 5 shows we have this week!  After all that here's the scoop:

Wednesday July 2-  68 Jay Street Brooklyn, NY!!!!!  show starts at 7:00 and Matty Meyer will be joining us on               drums

Thursday July 3-  The Opera House, Shepherdstown, WV w/ The Get Rights & Bob Keel (cannot wait!)

Friday July 4- Cristina's Cafe, Strausburg, VA show starts at 7:00

Saturday July 5-  Wolf Hills Brewing Co., Abingdon, VA 5:30-8:00

Sunday July 6- Deja Brew Coffee House, Haymarket, VA 8:00 pm!

Here in the Shepherdstown, West Virginia commune where photographer Kristian Thacker, comic artist Danielle Corsetto and musicians Jon Bertrand & yours truly Laura Mae Socks reside this summer things are getting fun and funner. hey everybody we're on tour...kinda.  Our first show is June 28th for the opening of Admiral Analog's Audio Assortment and Oddities.  The store is located in Shepherdstown, WV and it's a dream come true to have such a fine record store back in Shepherdstown after the void left by Intergelatic Garage so many years ago.  

you can check the shows page for information on the next few months of touring.  In the mean time i'll leave you with our new tour poster.  We made it ourselves!  Hope you like it.  It's our first attempt.

Welp we're back home in Louisiana booking away and taking names.  I'm getting a lil nostalgic about our tour so I figured i'd share some lovely photos taken at 1919 in Baltimore last weekend taken by my good friend Mike O'Neil.  Thank you so very much to everyone who came out to our shows.  You're all the best ever.

When we travel north bound we have the great fortune of getting to basically live with our friend Danielle Corsetto in Shepherdstown, West Virginia .  Not only do we get to have late night do-nuts at Krumpees (go there!  they're still cooked in lard) but if Danielle comes to one of our shows she will always do quick sketches of us throughout the show that always blow my mind.    

OH AND we've had the pleasure of having Matt Metz and John R. Miller join us at our recent shows.  I been knowing these boys for a really long time so it's nice to finally get to play together.  We been hitting them three part harmonies on the REG!

Well this has been an amazing week.   We started out in New Orleans at The Allways Country Jamboree and then made our way up to Charlottesville, Va where we played with the sweet and lovely Get Rights.  At the last part of their set we decided to combine forces and created a country super group; lemme tell you that was amazing.  Since then we played The Bluemoon Cafe in Shepherdstown, WV with John R. Miller & Matt Metz joining us and now we're laying low and recording trying to wrap up the recording for our first LP!  

This next weekend we'll be playing five more shows before we head back down to Louisiana.  We'd love to see you at the show!
